Plan on a short walk along the rim of the breathtaking Maligne Canyon, where possibly big horn sheep will also be waiting for a photo opportunity.

Your guide will stop at Medicine Lake to discuss with you the secrets of the disappearing lake. Watch for the bald eagles!

On up we go to Maligne Lake. Here we can take a short walk along the shoreline if the snow is not too deep. Maybe you would like to try a bit of snowshoeing?

If the clouds are gone make sure you bring your sunglasses. It is very bright with all the reflection of the sunlight off the dry,  powdery snow.

Allow about 3 hours, and longer if you try snowshoeing.
